Andrew has spent all of his working life helping clients to manage their financial affairs. He left a successful career in banking in 1992 (having been an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Banking) to join Prudential, and later worked for Scottish Mutual (part of the Abbey National Group), working closely with IFAs. He became an Independent Adviser himself in 2000, and became a shareholder/ director in the IFA arm of an accountancy firm, achieving Chartered Financial Planner status in 2009. Andrew moved to a large regional adviser in 2012, and joined us in late 2024.
Andrew prides himself on having excellent technical knowledge, particularly in the fields of investment portfolio management, pensions and Inheritance Tax Mitigation. He is also keen to deliver the highest possible service levels, which has been supported by the fact that many of his loyal clients have worked with him for nearly twenty years and were keen to work with him when he joined us at Astute Private Wealth.
Andrew lives in Holywell with his wife Gill. He has three adult children (teacher, policeman and former student) and enjoys family time and travelling.
