Our 2024 Charities
2024 will bring new challenges and fund raising for Astute Private Wealth.
This year we have again chosen two charities that are dear to our hearts….Parkinson’s UK & Tiny Stars
A progressive disease of the nervous system marked by a tremor, muscular rigidity, and slow, imprecise movement, chiefly affecting middle aged and elderly people. It is associated with degeneration of the basal ganglia of the brain and a deficiency of the neurotransmitter dopamine.
The Neonatal Unit at Arrowe Park Hospital is a designated Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit – one of only two in Cheshire and Merseyside. This means they are able to care for some of the most poorly babies. Our Neonatal Unit currently has 24 cots which enable the team to provide specialised care for babies from around 22 weeks of pregnancy.
Many of the babies are born early (premature). Some babies born around the time they are due (term) can also have problems, some requiring a brief stay with us and others a more intensive, longer stay. We know that improving the facilities will make a big difference for our smallest patients and their families.
The refurbishment includes an extensive reconfiguration of the ground floor of the Women and Children’s Hospital at Arrowe Park. To expand the existing neonatal unit, purchasing world class medical equipment and creating enhanced parent facilities. WUTH Charity needs to raise £1.5million over the next three years to make this happen.

2023 Update:
Astute have had a fun packed year raising for charities MND and The Dog’s Trust.
Their hard work and commitment paid off today, when Richard Shackelford from MND and Kate Ankers from The Dog’s Trust visited our Ewloe offices for the Charity Committee to present cheques each of £1692.50.
Two worthy Charities I am sure you will agree.
